Airplane!
So I'm sitting in the kitchen with my son in the height chair feeding him dinner. He looks outside and proudly stats swinnnnng and slide. I said thats right buddy there is your swing and slide. He looks at me and says outside. I respond sorry buddy it's to cold out today. He continues to eat his noodles then looks up quite excited and yells AIRPLANE! AIRPLANE! I say where buddy there is no airplane and he responds back with AIRPLANE.
I was a bit perplexed but said ok honey and he finished dinner and after some playing and bath I put him to sleep.
When my husband got home I asked him if he had the same experience the day before when he was feeding him dinner he said yes. It turned out what Nicholas thought was an airplane was an old style TV antenna on the top of one of the neighbors houses. At dinner time the sun hits the antenna just right so it looks like an airplane in the distance.
What a smartie pant I got!

When he gets older, just make sure you tell him it's not safe to climb up there and fly that plane.

I have been so busy, I have really missed reading your blog! I can always count on a little smile! I just love the pure innocence and curiosity of children. It is absolutely amazing what they come up with!

I remember my little girl. She always ask me to make her a paper airplane. Cheers!

When I'm driving my daughter to nursery in the morning we drive quite close to an airport and she's forever yelling "air plane, air plane" while I'm looking around thinking she must be imagining it.
Of course there is always one there, it's just so minute and far away that it takes her farsighted mum blooming ages to catch up!
Either that or she's got Superman eyesight.
