10 things I never knew about myself till I became a mother

10.     I wouldn't mind getting peed on, pooed on or used as a tissue.
9.       I could function on three hours of sleep.
8.       I would get so mad if someone looked at my child funny.
7.       I had enough motivation to pump my boobs for 12 months.
6.       I would worry about everything from diapers to is he eating enough.
5.       That I really didn't know what Love is.
4.       That I could tolerate extreme amounts of pain (c-section).
3.       That a simple thing like smile from my son could salvage the crappiest day.
2.       That I am really a big sissy at heart.
1.       That I would love and appreciate my husband so much more because of the beautiful life we built  together.

I'll never pump my boobs or get a C section, but other than that, you nailed it for me. Just the other day, my 5-year old crapped in his pants (diarrhea). I stripped him down, ran his undies under the bathtub faucet (and even gave them a good wringing to get all the bits out), cleaned him up and went on with my day. It wasn't until after it was over that I stopped and thought "what the f - did I just do? ewww..."
