Perfect Saturday

Today was nearly the perfect day. Imagine
this.... 75 degrees, no humidity, windows open and the breeze coming through
the house, the chores are mostly done, the baby is pleasant.
We spent sometime outside today at a local park. The baby loves the swings so much. I helped him down the slide for the first time today as well. He seemed to enjoy it. I sure did. The only thing missing from the days equation was dad, who unfortunately had to work today. But that comes with the territory when you are in retail.
This morning while Nicholas was playing I put the ipod on and we listened to Depeche Mode. I scooped him up and we started dancing. Really just bouncing but it was fun to say the least and a good work out since I have been trying to drop ten pounds for about three months now! I just felt really happy today. I guess because in my head this is what I imagine it would be like if I stayed home. Maybe some day......
