I'm Surrounded by idiots!
Today was a work at home day which always makes me happy. I can sleep in a little bit and I can wear my pj’s all day if I please since the only one who see's me in my son and he doesn't care. But he had a doctors appointment so we had to get dressed. Anyway I got my laptop out to sign into my works network and all was fine. Then at about 9am the stupid cable went out. I hate Comcast. So no internet, phone or TV.
At 10 it was still out but we left for the doctors. Today he got a chicken pox and Hepititis shot. He was not happy to say the least. The doctor examined him first then left the room to get the shots. I got my son to calm down but as soon as the doctor came back into the room the lip came down and he started screaming. His doctor usually has a really good bedside manner with him and he hardly ever cries. But today he was kinda rough with him so he really got upset. He cried the entire way home which he never does.
When we got home the cable was still out and I gave him lunch and got him down for his nap. Finally it came back and I logged in. I find out that the guy who is supposed to be my technical superior screwed up yet another thing. It pissed me off so bad and completely ruined the rest of my afternoon. I try really hard not to think about him. Anyway
What a cute picture! I love it when they make those silly faces. Wait until he's older and you can show all of his friends in high school.

A Bummer Week
Hi,
I was surfing the net, and I came across your website. I wanted to tell someone, anyone, about the rotten week that I'm having. I just need to vent. My husband just lost his job. He's been with his company for 6 years, and was called in on Monday and laid off. Just like that! I'm a stay-at-home-mom, so as of Monday, we have no income. I can't even sign my daughter up for Medicaid insurance yet because we won't get my husband's unemployment wage transcript for 7 to 10 business days. What if she gets sick before then? Sounds like my wife, cept she runs the joint now...well at least second in command. She kept getting offers to be project leads. Started out with small potatoes stuff which she dominated and she kept dominating all the way up. Anyways, at her most recent promotion proposition she asked me if she should take it. I said hell yeah, because either you do all the work and get credit or you do all the work and make some tool look good. Now which makes more sense. She rocks, sounds like shit is the same everywhere...it stinks. Rock on trooper.
